A couple of weeks ago we did a shoot for Joel & Kezia, who have just moved to London and wanted to mark the occasion with a little photo shoot in the capital. Their move also tied in nicely with their 7th wedding anniversary! Jonny took photos when they got hitched all those years ago on the beach in Cornwall so it was fun to be involved once again in another milestone in their lives. Below are a few snaps of the stunning couple having a loved-up wander around the backstreets of super-stylish Shoreditch.
Our last French wedding of the year was at a beautiful Dordogne Château with amazing panoramic views of the countryside. The stunningly beautiful photographer bride from Holland, Janet, tied the knot with her suave Swiss groom, Dino during an intimate ceremony in the tiny candlelit chapel in the grounds. They then celebrated with an English style high tea on the terrace under the sun and polished off the occasion at night with a formal black tie dinner complete with red carpet inside the venue’s grand ballroom. The wedding was planned and organised by Louise from Marry Me In France.
The other week South African photographer, Niki and her husband Justin asked us to take some photos of them during their short break here. It was their first time in London so we thought we’d show them along the pretty grand union canal from Camden lock and then take in the views from Primrose Hill. Below is a small sample of the shots we took along the way.
At the end of August we spent a week traveling around South West France and managed to shoot 3 wonderful weddings along the way. The first was in the Languedoc region not far from Carcasonne and the other two, at the equally stunning Château Lacoste & Château de Cazenac deep in Dordogne. Enjoy!
Despite mostly traveling this summer for destination weddings in Europe, in July and August we managed to photograph a few couples as they got hitched a little closer to home. Charlotte & Harry had the quintessentially English wedding in the grounds of Cambridge’s Emmanuel College, Malaysian/English couple, Shan & Craig chose historic Peckforton Castle in Cheshire while the oh so stylish Tom & Jino celebrated amongst the granduer and eccentricity of Aynhoe Park in the Cotswolds.
Last year we traveled to Italy for the first time to shoot Gemma & Mark’s beautiful wedding in Tuscany. This year we are lucky enough to be returning four more times for weddings all over the country. Below are some photos from our last two visits. First up, was the incredibly chic occasion that was Olga & Stefan’s marriage at Torre di Bellosguardo in the hills above Florence. Then came Tamra & Simon’s romantic, gastronomic inspired wedding deep in the renowned wine producing region of Barbaresco. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store for us when we’re flying to Rome for a wedding in Umbria!
A few week’s ago we were asked to shoot a bridal fashion & beauty editorial for Rock My Wedding. You can see some of the results below. We must give a big thank you to everyone at Rock My Wedding for having us along and putting together everything to style this shoot. Huge thanks to Jodie Hazlewood as well, for her brilliant job on hair and make-up.
We’ll have plenty of photos from our recent real weddings to share very soon!
This weekend we flew to Provence for a few nights to photograph a stunning wedding at the incredibly beautiful, La Tour Vaucros just outside Sorgues. Morgane made a great decision in booking the nearby maison d’hôtes, Le Mas des Arômes, a really peaceful, typically Provençal farmhouse where we were served breakfast each morning in the open air barn. Another highlight was Isle sur la Sorgue, a small town famous for it’s canals and the Sunday antiques market. The food photos below are from our meal at La Ballade des Saveurs.
Last week I was in Greece on the beautiful Island of Paros to shoot the wedding of London couple, Chris & Vik. It was a long way to go but well worth it for an amazing few days. There’ll be a few shots of the wedding to see further down the line.
A few weeks back, Morgane and I photographed Anna & Dan’s bright and sunny, yellow themed wedding at Braxted Park in Whitam, Essex. Here’s a taster of how the day panned out.
